The National Meteorological Administration has issued a yellow wind warning, which has been in effect since Saturday evening in Banat, Krizan, southern Transylvania, as well as in the Western, Southern and Kurbur Carpathians.

According to meteorologists, in the period from 6:00 p.m. on February 10 to 8:00 a.m. on February 11, the wind in these areas will average 55…65 km/h, and at heights in the mountainous areas, gusts will exceed 90…100 km/h .

Counties marked with a yellow code: Alba, Arges, Arad, Bihor, Brasov, Buzeu, Cluj, Karash-Severin, Covasna, Dambovitsa, Gorj, Hunedoara, Mehedinci, Prahova, Sibiu, Timis, Vilca and Vranca.

Later, during the day on Sunday, the yellow wind code extends to six other counties, namely Calarasi, Jalomica, Braila, Galati, Tulcea and Constanta.

On Sunday, the total wind speed will be 55…65 km/h, at altitude in mountainous areas, gusts will exceed 90…100 km/h.

At the same time, the ANM notes that in the rest of the country there will also be a temporary strengthening of the wind with a total speed of 45…55 km/h. On the night from Sunday to Monday (February 11/12), the wind will continue to increase, especially in the southeast of the territory.

Special forecast for Bucharest

In Bucharest, the weather will be much warmer than usual for this period, and the maximum temperature will rise on Sunday to 20…21 degrees, according to the special forecast for the capital, issued by the National Meteorological Administration.

Between 6:00 p.m. on February 10 and 8:00 a.m. on February 11, the sky will be partly cloudy with light to moderate winds. The minimum temperature will be 6…9 degrees.

On Sunday, the sky will be changeable, the wind will be moderate with a temporary increase (speed 35…45 km/h). The maximum temperature will be 20…21 degrees. (Agerpress)
