
The Higher Council of Magistracy (CSM) announces the organization of a competition from February to July to fill more than 100 positions of judges and prosecutors.
“In accordance with the strategy for filling vacant positions in the judicial system, on February 6, 2024, the Plenum of the High Council of Magistracy decided to organize a new competition for the appointment of a judge,” the CSM reported on Friday. from News.ro.
The competition will be held in Bucharest from February to July and is aimed at filling 75 positions of judges – plus 30 positions on the additional list – and 42 positions of prosecutors – plus 11 positions on the additional list.
According to the calendar, a test grid is scheduled for April 14 to test legal knowledge in the subjects of civil law, civil procedural law, criminal law and criminal procedural law. On May 11, there will be a written test to test knowledge of civil law and civil procedural law, and on May 12, a written test on criminal law and criminal procedural law. Psychological testing will take place from May 18 to 26, and interviews from June 22 to 30.
