Boris Becker has announced his separation from Holger Rune

Holger Rohn was aiming to win his first Grand Slam this year but crashed out in the second round of the Australian Open.

After the failure in front of the Frenchman Arthur Cazo, Rooney’s mother announced the divorce from Severin Luthi, with whom the player has been working since December, the coach who worked with Roger Federer for 15 seasons.

Only a week later, Holger Roon was left without another big name, and former world leader Boris Becker announced his break with the Dane on Tuesday.

“I would like to inform you that I will be resigning as head coach of Holger Roon with immediate effect.

I started this partnership with the initial goal of reaching the Tournament of Champions last year, but moving forward, I realized that in order to be successful, I needed to be available to Holger more than I could.

Due to professional and personal commitments, I cannot give Holger what he needs right now.

I wish him success and will always be his number one fan. I really appreciated this experience,” Borys Bekker said on social media.

Who is Holger Roon?

At the age of 20 (he was born on April 29, 2003 in Gentoft, Denmark), Holger Rune topped the ATP rankings at number 4 (August 2023).

During his career, he won 94 matches and lost 62. He won 4 ATP titles (the most important being the Paris Masters in 2022) and collected $7,953,353 in prize money alone.
