
Dodge’s latest announcements reveal exciting details about this Charger, confirm an unveiling date, and offer a first look at this highly anticipated model.
Official opening on March 5, 2024
After constant rumours, Dodge has officially confirmed that the new charger will be presented to the public on March 5, 2024. Admires muscle cars can mark this date in their calendars, because that’s when the production version of the concept of the same name will be fully revealed.
Dodge surprised everyone by posting some never-before-seen photos on social media. The messages accompanying these photos stated: “Cameras or recording devices are not allowed. Shown is a pre-production model. Will be available at the end of 2024.”
Design inspired by the Charger Daytona SRT concept
The photos give a glimpse of the future design, confirming that this Charger will share aesthetic traits with the 2022 Charger Daytona SRT concept. The illuminated Fratzog logo is located between the headlights, very close to the “R-Wing”, which resembles a spoiler. 1969 XXL Charger Daytona.
Dodge has already announced that the new charger will be equipped electric power unit, with all-wheel drive and 800-volt architecture. However, rumors also suggest the possibility of a petrol version. In particular, according to several American media, a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbo is mentioned as an option. This, of course, has not been confirmed by Dodge, which does not mention the possibility of equipping its new model with such an engine.
Available end of 2024
