
In January 2024, the number of old-age pension recipients was 10,886, 34 fewer than in the previous month, and most of them – 5,458 – are magistrates, according to data from the centralized National Public Pension Fund (CNPP).
In the case of beneficiaries from the judicial system, the highest average pension for years of service was also recorded, which amounted to 22,505 lei, i.e. more than 4,500 euros, of which 19,944 lei comes from the share of the state budget, and 6,497 lei from the budget of the state social insurance. this is shown by the National State Pension House, reports Agerpres.
According to the CNPP, Law No. 216/2015 on the assignment of retirement pensions to members of the diplomatic and consular corps of Romania, 738 people took advantage in December. The average amount of the pension was 6,616 lei, of which 2,996 lei came from the state budget.
As for the beneficiaries of Law 215/2015 on Amendments to Law 7/2006 on the Status of Parliamentary Civil Servants, their number was 761, the average pension was 5,662 lei (2,989 lei from the state budget).
According to the National State Pension Fund, 1,364 pensioners benefited from Law 83/2015 amending Law 223/2007 on the status of professional civil aviation personnel in the civil aviation of Romania, and the average pension was 12,923 lei, of which 8,365 lei is paid from the state budget.
603 persons received long-term pensions for the beneficiaries of the Accounting Chamber, an average of 9,707 lei, of which 3,140 lei belong to the state budget.
In addition, 1,962 pensioners benefited from Law 130/2015 amending Law 567/2004 on the status of specialized support staff of courts and prosecutors’ offices, the average pension was 5,702 lei, of which 2,918 lei were supported from the state budget. (Photo: Dreamstime.com)
