Ciprian Deak and Mario Camora extended their contracts with CFR Cluj

A surprising defeat to bottom ranked FC Botosani led to a change of coach at CFR Cluj, with Andrea Mandorlini leaving his place to Adrian Mutu.

The decision also benefited two veterans of the Transylvanian team, Cipriano Deac and Mario Camorra, who have developed less during the Italian technician’s mandate.

Two days after Mutu’s presentation, CFR Cluj announced that they had extended their contracts with them for another year, with an emotional video.

“They worked every day with the same determination. They gave us joy in hundreds of moments, paving the way for the team to success. They showed us, despite any unfortunate moment, that they are true fighters, true role models for all of us.

Their journey does not end here! Our veterans Mario Camora and Sipri Deak remain at Gruia for at least one more season to continue to prove what they are capable of. For the team, for the colors, for you!

Good luck guys! CFR Cluj needs your winning spirit,” Transylvanians reported on social networks.

At the age of 37, Deak spent 13 seasons with Gruia, winning seven titles, two Cups and four Super Bowls.

In turn, Kamora can boast of six titles, one Cup and two Super Cups, won together with CFR Cluj.
