Transport Minister Sorin Grindeanu says he agrees with some changes regarding the control of toll payment by carriers, but says he does not agree with non-payment of this tax by the carriers’ vehicles, News.ro reports.

“You must know that I do not agree that the ruin should not be paid for. But I agree, if you stand in line for 30 hours, for example at Siret customs, do not fine the truck driver, he is not at fault. And then we find a solution so that we move this control system earlier, but that does not mean that they should not pay the fine,” Sorin told Grindean on Friday night in a telephone intervention on Antena 3.

Some drivers who protested in recent days in several regions of the country complained, in addition to the increase in the rates of civil liability policies, and the increase in the rates of road fees that the carriers have to pay.
