Kenin, Kerber and Pliskova were eliminated in the first round of the 2024 Australian Open

Kenin was defeated by Iga Sviatek (the top favorite), Kerber lost to American Danielle Collins (2022 finalist), and Pliskova was eliminated by Elena Rybakina (2022 Wimbledon champion).
