Police arrested a 67-year-old man after he allegedly killed his wife, who was 30 years his junior, according to the Neamts District Police Inspectorate (IPJ).
The crime took place in the night from Sunday to Monday in the house of both in the city of Dobren.
“After the first investigative actions, it became clear that a 67-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 35-year-old wife, both from Dobreni. The man in question was identified by the police immediately after the crime was committed,” IPJ Neamţ spokeswoman Inspector Ramona Ciofu said as quoted by Agerpres.
According to some investigation data, the crime occurred due to jealousy and alcohol consumption by the husband.
The investigation was undertaken by the prosecutors of the prosecutor’s office of the Neamts court.
