
French film Anatomie d’une chute won best foreign film Sunday night at the 81st Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, according to X (ex Twitter) about the event, Agerpres quotes.
The productions “Fallen Leaves”, “Io Capitano”, “Past Lives”, “Snow Society” and “Zone of Interests” were also nominated in this category.
Directed by Justine Trier and starring Sandra Hüller, Swann Arlo and Milo Machado Graner, the film tells the story of a possible murder investigation after a man’s body is found in the snow near the isolated cabin where he lived with his wife and son.
Last year, the award in this category went to the play “Argentina, 1985”.
The ceremony, which took place on Sunday evening in Beverly Hills, is hosted by American comedian Joe Coy.
