“Dynamo” Bucharest officially announced the first transfer of the mercato winter period. “Dogs” brought Macedonian Darko Velkovski, last time in Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.

Out of contract since last summer, defender Darko Velkowski spent the season in Saudi Arabia at Al Etifaq and was a direct rival to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Macedonian player is valued by Transfermarkt at 1.8 million euros.

“Central defender Darko Velkovski, 28 years old, is a new player of our club.

North Macedonia international Velkovki also played for Rabotnički, Vardar, Rijeka and Al-Ettifaq.

Velkovski made 48 appearances for North Macedonia, scoring three goals and playing in all three Euro 2020 matches.

Velkovski will join the team trained by Željko Kopić at the training camp in Antalya,” the club announced on social media.
