Dutchman Max Verstappen became the best driver of the season in Formula 1

As every year, ten team managers were invited to select the top 10 drivers on the starting grid, the points scale is the same as in the World Championship: 25 points for 1st place, 18 for 2nd place, 15 for 3rd place. And so on

All directors – Alessandro Alunni Bravi (Alfa Romeo), Bruno Famin (Alpine), Christian Horner (Red Bull), Mike Krak (Aston Martin), Gunther Steiner (Haas), Andrea Stella (McLaren), Franz Tost (AlphaTauri), Frederik Wasser (Ferrari), James Walls (Williams) and Toto Wolff (Mercedes) – as expected, chose Max Verstappen, world champion after winning 19 of 22 races.

The Dutch driver from Red Bull scored 240 out of 250 possible points and was ahead of the Spaniard Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), who took six positions in the 2022 ranking, and the British Lando Norris (McLaren), reports Agerpres.

Thais Alex Albon (8th place, Williams) and Oscar Piastri (7th place, McLaren) also entered the top 10.
