A 53-year-old man threw himself from the second floor of a hospital in Satu Mare on Christmas Day, and died after hitting the ground. The police report that an investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances of the incident.

The event was reported to the single emergency number on Monday, around 11.30, when the police received a report that a person had thrown himself out of the window of the hospital.

“After the checks, the police found out that this gesture was made by a 53-year-old man from the second floor of the infirmary, and his death was recorded,” the district police reported.

Judicial sources told News.ro that the man was a patient at the hospital and was admitted to the anesthesiology and intensive care unit. Law enforcement officers are continuing the investigation to accurately establish all the circumstances of the incident. (news.ro)
