Hydrologists on Monday, taking into account the current hydrometeorological situation and the weather forecast for the next day, announced a warning about yellow and orange codes on the rivers Tisza, Someşul Mare, Someşul Mic, Krasna, Iza, Lăpuş, Tur hydrographic basins, from several levels.

According to the INMH, the yellow code will appear in the period from 25.12.2023 at 12:00 to 27.12.2023 at 12:00 on the rivers in the hydrographic basins: Tisza – on the adjacent sector of SH Valea Vişeului, Vişeu, Iza, Lăpuş ( Maramures County ), Tour (Satu Mare district), Someshul Mare (Bistrita Neseud district), Someshul Mik – the upper reaches of the Ac basin. Gileu (counties: Bihor and Cluj), Someş – small tributaries connected with the lower course of SH Dej (counties: Cluj, Sălaj, Maramureş and Satu Mare), Krasna – lower course of SH Craidorolţ (Satu Mare county), Crişul Negru (counties: Bihor and Arad), Mures – the upper reaches of the SH Glodeni basin (counties: Harghita and Mures), Aries – the upper reaches of the SH Câmpeni basin (Alba county), Bistrita (tributary of the Siret River) – the upper reaches of the SH Cârlibaba basin and the tributary of the associated with the downstream SH Cârlibaba – upstream Ac. Izvoru Muntelui (districts: Suceava, Harghita and Neamts).

Hydrologists also issued an orange code from 25.12.2023 at 22:00 to 26.12.2023 at 12:00 on the rivers in the hydrographic basins: Tisza – on the connected sector SH Valea Vişeului, Vişeu – upper basin and middle and lower tributaries of the basin, Iza – the upper part of the basin and the middle and lower tributaries of the basin, Lapush – the upper part of the basin and the middle and lower tributaries of the basin (Maramureş district), Tur – the basin of the lower stream Ac. Kelineşti oasis (Satu Mare district), Someshul Mare – upper basin and middle and lower tributaries of the basin (Bistrita-Neseud county). “Dangerous hydrological phenomena can also occur in the lower tributaries of rivers,” hydrologists also specify.
