A 54-year-old man from Kelineşti, Botosani, died on Friday in a fire that engulfed his house, representatives of the Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) in Botosani, reported Agerpres.

According to them, the fire most likely started after the man fell asleep while smoking, and the neighbors noticed the flames and called for help.

“Two teams from the Botosani fire department went to the scene, with two special machines for extinguishing water and foam, a team from the county ambulance service, as well as a volunteer emergency service from Bucec.
