The announcement comes after the Republic of Moldova reduced its participation in the CIS after Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine. The government of Chisinau has already denounced dozens of agreements with this organization and announced last month that in 2024 it will no longer pay its contribution to the CIS, which it reduced for the current year.
