
The main group stage of the Women’s Handball World Championship started without surprises on Wednesday, with the last three holders of the trophy respecting their status as favourites.

Norway, France and the Netherlands, the first victories in the main groups of the Women’s Handball World Cup
Hosts and one of the main favorites to win the trophy, Norway convincingly defeated Angola 37-19 with the maximum score.
France faced Austria, but led by 11 goals (25-14) before the break.
The French women, although they slowed down the pace, also marched in the second half, scoring the most goals – 41-27.
The Netherlands beat Brazil 35-27 to top Group 4, level on points with Spain, another team unbeaten in their first three World Cup matches.
