PSD-PNL government, “no toxic blockades”

Klaus Iohannis also praised the current PSD-PNL coalition, which he said had ensured a “stable government” during a difficult period marked by “serious crises”, culminating in the war on Romania’s border with Ukraine.

“But even if these crises are not over, we can confidently say that we managed to keep the economy healthy, encourage investments, and ensure the safety of our citizens. And all this would be impossible if we did not have a stable government, without toxic political blocs, even if this government can also be criticized. “Without government coherence, it would be much more difficult to overcome the many crises we face,” the president said.

The head of state also talked about the advantages of Romania’s membership in NATO, saying that our country is a safe country.

“Romania is a safe country and its citizens have no reason to fear.
