Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told an OSCE meeting in Skopje on Thursday that the Republic of Moldova is “the next victim of the hybrid war launched by the West against the Russian Federation,” in a speech in which he also accused the West of destroying the Security Organization and cooperation in Europe, reports News.ro.

Russia’s foreign minister said the West was waging a “hybrid war” against Russia and said the European Union had become an “aggressive political project.” In this context, he mentioned the Republic of Moldova and accused the West of “torpedoing” the Russian plan to resolve the Transnistrian conflict proposed 20 years ago, and now “killing” the “5+2” negotiating format.
