Bernd Stork became the new coach of Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe

The poor run of the Romanian Cup winners this season has forced boss László Dioseghi to make changes to the team.

The new German coach, Bernd Storck, was officially introduced on Thursday.

“We are honored that he responded positively to our inquiries. I hope with all my heart that we will have a good and fruitful cooperation.

We are not in a very good situation, but I know one thing. With the iron hand and experience of the master, we will get out of this impasse. I hope everything goes well” – said Laszlo Diosegyaccording to VSP.

The 60-year-old coach was late for the official presentation, but says he will do everything in his power to achieve the goal.

“We have a big goal, I will do everything to raise the team to where it deserves. I saw a few matches of the team, I think we have a lot of potential, a lot of good players. I will train them hard to make them better to make them proud at the end of the season.

The playoffs are a tough goal, but I’m not afraid. My goal is always to make the team better. I have my vision of how we need to play forward when we have the ball and when we don’t. I think we have a lot of good players and I can bring them to the level they need.

I have a week to prepare the team for the match against Dynamo. It will be difficult, but with the help of the fans and the entire staff, we will prepare the team well.” – announced Bernd Stork.

A former Bochum and Borussia Dortmund player, Stork has coached several teams in Belgium, including Mouscron, Genk and Kortrijk, but he also has two stints as coach of Hungary and Kazakhstan.
