Residents of Constanta will remain without drinking water, representatives of the Autonomous District Water Authority (RAJA) of Constanta said on Sunday, News.ro reported.
They added that the reason for the break is a voltage drop at all the sources that supply the city.
“Currently, the voltage has dropped on all the sources that supply the entire city of Constanta (Palas, Cismele, Galesu and Constanta North). Under these conditions, all consumers in the city of Constanta will run out of tap water in about two hours. We assure subscribers that we will restore the water supply at optimal parameters as soon as the teams of the energy supplier manage to restart the voltage lines,” RAZA representatives said.
A red blizzard warning is in effect in Constanta County until 4:00 p.m.
