
An employee of the World Health Organization and her child were killed in Gaza, the director general of the UN agency said.
“Our young colleague Dima Alhaj died tragically along with her six-month-old baby, husband and two brothers,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, according to Sky News.
“Apparently, 55 family members who were hiding in the same house were also killed. I have no words to describe our pain,” he says.
“This horror must end. All humanitarians and civilians must be protected. Cease fire. Now,” the WHO representative added.

Ghebreyesus recalled the other 108 UN aid workers who died during the conflict, all of them members of the UN Relief and Works Agency.
