Aryna Sabalenko will perform in the semi-finals of the Tournament of Champions.

The WTA No. 1 defeated Elena Rybakina in three sets in a match that lasted two hours and 34 minutes and resumed on Friday night after it was initially interrupted by adverse weather conditions.

Sabalenko won the first set without much emotion, but conceded in the second act after Rybakina broke the course of the set.

In the decider, this year’s Australian Open champion was in control and eventually qualified for Cancun Boxing.
