Israel’s ambassador to Romania, Reuven Azar, was also present at the event, who wanted to convey a message on this matter.

“Hamas is hiding under hospitals and schools. They use the population as a human shield. Hamas prevents the safe evacuation of the civilian population. Just yesterday they sent a group of 100 women and children in front of our armed forces to stop our advance. We saw again how stingy they are, but that won’t stop us. The Israel Defense Forces will continue to carry out the mission assigned by the government. We will do it responsibly and in accordance with international law. We will destroy Hamas and bring home our hostages. All hostages, women, children, babies. Hamas is trying to use hostages to stop our operation because they want to prepare to attack us again and again, kill our civilians, children, rape our women, intimidate us, and their leaders have said it. This will not happen, Israel will fight and win,” said the Israeli ambassador to our country, News.ro reports.

At the end of the speech, Reuven Azar wanted to thank President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Marcel Čolak, the Romanian government and all Romanians for the solidarity shown towards the State of Israel.

“Romania is a very strong friendly state of Israel,” added the Israeli ambassador to Romania.

Those present at the rally carry flags of the state of Israel. Photographs of those taken hostage by Hamas are also shown.
