“Today, in the office of the Verkhovna Rada, I received the ANU decision in an envelope. So the case was closed. I was investigated based on information from the press. They checked from February 2021 to October 2023 and said there was no evidence and closed the case. They themselves reported, so they told me, so it is written in the report, based on certain information from the press. They checked the assets and clearly saw that I have no problems, that I’m fine,” Dan Tudorache told Agerpres.

During all this time, the former mayor says that his image suffered a lot.

“My image suffered a lot, it was trampled. In the near future, I will talk to my lawyers, at the moment I have not made any decision,” said the NSDP deputy.

According to a report by ANI, on 02/03/2021, the Agency officially notified itself that Dan Tudorache, Mayor of Bucharest Sector 1, “made a fortune that exceeds his income”.

“After completing the assessment carried out in the document regarding Tudorace Daniel, Mayor of Sector 1 of Bucharest, no significant differences were found within the meaning of the provisions of Article 18 of Law no. 176/2010,” the ANI assessment report said in its findings announcing that the case had been declassified.
