US President Joe Biden on Tuesday called Hamas’s Palestinian attacks on Israel “pure evil,” reporting “shocking” news of “children killed, entire families killed,” AFP reported.
“At this point we have to be absolutely clear. We support Israel,” said Joe Biden in a speech at the White House.
The US president has said he is ready to commit “additional resources” to support Israel after a deadly attack by Hamas.
“The United States has also increased its (military presence) in the region to strengthen its (deterrence) efforts,” he said at the White House. “We are ready to deploy additional resources if necessary.”
