Buying a home during this period can become a real problem not only from a financial point of view, but also from the point of view of the quality of construction. To build – they are still building, many and in all ways. Everywhere we see ads about “residence”, “villas”, “luxury complex”. Prices are high, and so are tariffs, so it is more important than ever to learn how to make such an important decision for our future and finances as buying an apartment or house.

In Romania, unlike other European countries, not only do people want to buy rather than rent as much as possible, but there is also a tendency to go through the process on their own or, at most, with real estate agencies.

This is a choice that can be very expensive. Professionals, whether architects or licensed managers, must inspect the property we want to purchase to ensure there are no hidden defects.

In particular, experts are those who can consult the construction book, that is, the “medical card” of the building, which guarantees us that the house we buy meets the requirements, especially in terms of construction. This could be the test that ultimately determines the difference between life and death.

But the fact that we have to go to structuralists or architects is just something that Romanians don’t really do before buying real estate, says architect Radu Negoitse, founder of the Strange Houses portal on Radar and author of a book in which he explains that people, how to choose a home, explains in an interview with Panorama what exactly we should consider when deciding to become a home owner.
