
The Guess Who concert, scheduled for the end of next week in Timisoara, was canceled by the organizers until “clarification of the situation” because the rapper was found to be under the influence of drugs while driving.
“I drew attention to recent events in public space involving the hip-hop artist Guess Who. Pending clarification of the situation, confirmation or denial of information by the competent authorities, we are forced to announce the cancellation of the concert scheduled for October 7 in Timişoara, given the short time left before it takes place. Public safety and encouraging law-abiding behavior will always be an absolute priority for us,” said Alexandra-Maria Rigler, director of the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, according to a press release quoted by deBanat.
The concert was part of the artistic program of the Timisoara 2023 European Capital of Culture project.
Famous rapper Guess Who (Laurentiu Mocanu) was caught driving under the influence of drugs on Wednesday in Sector 1 of the capital, court sources told HotNews.ro. The artist allegedly used cocaine.

The rapper did not want to make too many statements to the press on the way out of the hearing at the Bucharest Road Brigade.
