
Romanian-born Swedish player Dragos Nicolae Madaras was provisionally suspended on Wednesday by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).

Madarasch is banned from playing or attending any tennis events organized by the sport’s forums starting August 17, 2023, according to Agerpres.
A preliminary sanction is imposed in accordance with section F.3.bi1. from TACP, which is presented as follows: “The person in question does not respond to the request.”
The player appealed against his suspension, but it was rejected by independent anti-corruption officer Richard McLaren on 22 September.
Madarash (26 years old) is the third Swede in the ATP singles ranking, occupying the 220th place.
His highest world ranking was 191 (July 17, 2023).
His last match took place in August, in the 1/8 finals of the candidate tournament in Banja Luka (Bosnia-Herzegovina).
