The City Hall will modernize public lighting on 49 boulevards with non-refundable funds, the investment cost is 75 million lei, Mayor Nikushor Dan announced on his Facebook page.

  • “We received another 50 million lei, non-refundable funding, for the modernization of the public system on 34 important roads in the capital. Investment costs are fully paid by the Environment Fund Administration.
  • This is the second project to modernize public lighting in Bucharest, after the capital city hall received grant funding of 25 million lei for 15 other streets in March.
  • In total, we attracted 75 million lei to improve the energy efficiency of the public lighting system on 49 high-traffic streets,” the mayor general wrote on his Facebook page.

Constructorilor, Calea Crângași, Str. Valea Cascadelor, str. Preciziei, str. Zenitna, Road. Alexandriei, Calea Rahovei, Calea Floreasca, Sos. Pipera, Bd. Exhibition, Calea Plevnei, Bd. Lacul Tei, Bd. 1 December 1918, Sos. Chitilei, Sos. Bucharest-Tyrgovishte, str. Buzeshti, str. Storks, Road. Grozăvești, Bd. Geniului, Pasaj Basarab, Bd. The project is aimed at implementing a remote control system and using devices with LED technology.
