Atletico Madrid – Real Madrid 3-1, sixth stage of LaLiga

Without Vinicius Junior unavailable for this game, Real could not cope with Atletico despite having the ball and conceding chances.

Diego Simeone’s men opened the scoring after just four minutes through Alvaro Morata, who headed home Lino’s cross.

Antoine Griezmann made it 2-0 in the 18th minute, also with a header from Niguez’s pass.

Real Madrid reduced the gap before the breakthrough through Toni Kroos with a shot from outside the box.

In the 46th minute, Alvaro Morata scored a double against his former team and signed the final result of the match.

It is Real’s first defeat of the season and they are third in La Liga with 15 points, while Atletico have moved up to fifth with 10 points.
