PSD senator Lucian Romaşcanu says that in order to topple this government, after taking responsibility in parliament for the fiscal measures package, the UDMR is really necessary. “I don’t think they will sign this submission, they will negotiate, they are very good negotiators,” he said.
“The opposition, the way it’s going now, it doesn’t have any traction with people, because just saying ‘no, no, no’ will bore even the most active opponent in front of the TV and getting the numbers you need for this game. Government, you really need UDMR. UDMR was in the government, they are extremely professional people, they understand the delicacy of the moment we are going through now, and I don’t think they will sign this proposal,” said Lucian Romaškanu on Tuesday night in the show on the Prima News Station.
“They will negotiate, they are very good negotiators. Kelemen Hunor’s speech is part of the manuals for political negotiations,” Romashkanu noted.
Answering the question about signing the AUR proposal, Lucian Romashcanu said that this vote would fail. “Together with PNL, we are somewhere around 60%. From my point of view, the emotion is not to lose the party’s government mandate, because I used to be in the opposition, the problem is what is happening to the country,” he said. (News.ro)
