
Two Austrians who went missing during recent flooding in Greece have been confirmed dead after DNA tests on the two recovered bodies confirmed their identities, Austria’s foreign ministry said in a statement on Saturday, without naming them, Reuters reported, according to News . .ro.
“It is our sad duty to report the death of two Austrian citizens in Greece,” the ministry said in a short statement.
“The results of the DNA analysis confirmed that we are talking about two people who went missing as a result of a heavy flood,” the source added.
