Romania’s women’s handball vice-champion Rapid Bucharest lost 30-28 to Danish team Esbjerg on Sunday in the first stage of Group B of the Champions League.

From the winning team, Braistol and Reistad scored (6 goals each), and from Rapid – Grozav (6 goals), Bucheski and Kanor (5 each).
