“These measures are usually used when we discuss respiratory infectious diseases. At the moment, we have about 1,000 cases per day, but we are only discussing a certain agglomeration at the level of some infectious diseases hospitals. But the measures taken for influenza, for example, are the same as for infection with the new coronavirus. Apparently, we will have one or two more weeks of growth, and after that the situation will begin to normalize,” Minister Alexandru Rafila also stated.
The Ministry of Health sent the latest report on the new coronavirus on Tuesday, September 5, according to which at that time there were 583 people with COVID-19 in specialized medical units.
According to the Ministry of Health, 45 patients were hospitalized for acute respiratory infections, 28 of whom were not vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2.
Out of the total number of those hospitalized, 110 were minors, 108 were hospitalized in wards and 2 in intensive care units.
