Simona Radish and Ankutsa Bodnar qualified for the doubles rowing final at the World Rowing Championships. Both also punched their tickets to Paris, bringing the Romanian delegation to 26 qualified athletes for the 2024 Olympics.

Olympic champions, world and European champions Radish and Bodnar won their 25th consecutive victory, reaching the world finals of double rowing.

The performance is similar to the qualification for the Olympic Games in Paris, where the two athletes will try to defend their title won in Tokyo.

Radish and Bodnar dominated from one side to the other in the semi-finals of the double rowing at the World Rowing Championships.

After this result, Romanian rowing reached 6 qualified boats and 16 athletes in the Romanian Olympic team.
