The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, is talking about the digitization of the activities of the Military Medical Commissions based on the results of inspections, which revealed that in some regions, since February of last year, the number of those removed from military registration has increased tenfold. He claims there are corrupt decisions and the bribe ranges from $3 to $15,000, News.ro reports.

“No more queues. No more walking around to find or sign the paper you need. All this can be provided electronically and with the presence of the necessary military personnel at the place of medical examination, if it is in a civilian medical institution. Government officials will complete the digitization work,” Zelenskyy said.

In a message sent on Wednesday evening, Zelenskyi said that there was a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) where only military medical commissions were discussed, indicating that the checks will be completed soon, and some already are. conclusions.

“It is necessary to check a significant number of decisions of military medical commissions regarding disability and unfitness for military service, which were made after February 24. Today, the relevant statistics were presented to the NSDC. There are examples of regions where, since February last year, the number of people removed from military registration by decision of the VLK has increased tenfold. It is very clear what these decisions mean. Corruption decisions,” he stressed.

Zelensky noted that the investigators have already discovered unsubstantiated decisions of these commissions, and additional evidence is being recorded.

“The size of the bribe varies from 3 to 15 thousand dollars. They will be held accountable. The list of those who left the country based on clearly suspicious decisions of the VLK will be analyzed separately. First of all, because of the decision of those who have already been caught for bribery. We are talking about at least several thousand people,” he added.

The President of Ukraine noted that the issue addressed by all commanders on the battlefield – the so-called limited fitness – will also be discussed, showing that everything related to fitness or unfitness for military service should be as clear as possible.

He added that a very important point is the digitalization of the activities of the VLK.

And one more example – in Kyiv, almost nothing has been done to ensure that people are examined by the military medical commission in civilian medical institutions,” Zelenskyi said.

He also noted that international meetings and negotiations will be held in September.

Zelenskyi also announced that he held a meeting with representatives of the parliament, the government and officials in the field of international relations regarding Ukraine’s preparation for the start of negotiations on joining the European Union.

Regarding the Peace Formula, he noted that the total number of diplomatic missions has reached 70.
