According to the source, 4 passenger trains were stopped at nearby stations before the intervention by ISU representatives was completed.

A response team from private freight operator GFR is also expected to arrive at Caracal station.

“After a call to the single number 112, which reported a leak on the valve of a car loaded with propane at the Karakal station, two fire engines, a CBRN truck (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) and two special vehicles for the first intervention. To protect the population, a 400-meter security perimeter has been marked in the Karakal station area. People were not evacuated. After maneuvers carried out by the intervention teams and personnel at the workplace, the valve was closed, and after measurements by the CBRN crew, all values ​​were zero,” said ISU Olt.
