Petrolul Ploiesti achieved its third consecutive success in the Romanian Super League, defeating FC Craiova 1948 with a score of 4-3 in stage #6.

Petrolul, clean win with FC U Craiova 1948

“Petrol” continues its good course since the beginning of this season in the Romanian Super League.

The team coached by Florin Parvu beat FC U Craiova 1948 4-3.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 4th minute, Irobiso completed the action at the end.

After 9 minutes, the score was already 2:0. Giku Grozav suited Zhair very well, and he did not forgive Robert Pope.

Before the break, the guests reduced the difference through van Doormen. He took advantage of Zima’s wrong refusal and sent it into the goal.

In the second half, there was a real rain of goals.

Irobiso scored a brace in the 60th minute after converting Jair’s cross, while youngster Alexandru Mousi made it 4-1 for Petrolul (75th minute).

Despite this, the people of Olten did not give up and fought to the end for a positive result. With 9 minutes to go, Bauza made a great pass to Kitsu, and the same Bauza scored the third goal against the guests from 11 meters (min. 85).

The final score is 4-3, and thanks to this success, the people of Prahovna rise to 3rd place and accumulate 11 points. On the other hand, the team coached by Nicolae Dike reaches the 10th place with 6 points.
