According to Russian state media, the director of the company whose warehouse exploded in Serhiyiv Posad on Wednesday was arrested. As a result of the explosion, more than 60 people were injured, one person died.
Yesterday, TASS reported that the technical director of “Piro-Ross” Serhii Shankayev was detained while investigators searched the premises of the company, seized documents and interrogated employees.
It is now confirmed that Shankayev has been officially arrested and placed in the custody of the Serhiyevo-Posadsky City Court of the Moscow Region.
No details about the charges and whether Shankayev was involved in the explosion have not been reported.

The Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Moscow region said that 2,000 square meters were on fire, reports the state news agency TASS.
