According to the investigative journalist, Evgeny Prigozhin will either die or lead another coup against Moscow within six months.

Christo Grozev, Bellingcat’s chief Russia researcher, suggests that Vladimir Putin will heed history and “make a deal” with Prigozhin, who he called a traitor after his brief coup.

“Everyone knows what they are doing [rușii conectați la regimul Putin] with “traitors”, and Putin did not do this. He wants to see him dead, but he can’t do it yet,” Grozev told the Financial Times.

Earlier in January of this year, Grozev said that Prigozhin would betray Vladimir Putin within six months, a prediction that came true in late June when Prigozhin led a “march to freedom” to Moscow.

“In six months Prigozhin will either die or there will be a second coup d’état… you can remember me,” said Grozev.
