In a dispute with CFR Călători after a train car door fell in motion, CFR Infrastructura released images of the incident.
On Tuesday, the car door of train IR 1836, which departed on Tuesday at 7:40 am from Cluj and was supposed to arrive at 8:19 pm in Bucharest North following a route of 621 km via Petrosani and Craiova, fell. at the exit from Bărăbanţ station. The incident took place around 10:30 in the morning when the train had traveled about 125 km. The train arrived 80 minutes late in northern Bucharest (ie at 21:40).
CFR Călători and CFR Infrastructura accused each other of organizing the incident. CFR Călători claimed the door was caught and pulled by a machine working on railway infrastructure, while CFR Infrastructura denied this on Wednesday. CFR Infrastructura says the car door fell “ON ITSELF” on the CF line, “without the assistance of any machinery”.
