After France’s VAR disallowed a goal for offside in the 81st minute, Ukraine struck in the 86th minute thanks to Artem Bodarenko.
And England secured a place in the semi-finals after a narrow victory over Portugal.
Newcastle striker Anthony Gordon scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute.
