“Given the legislative intentions publicly disclosed by the ruling coalition, to pass the legislative project Plx 244/2023 next week through the labor and finance committees of the Chamber of Deputies on Monday and Tuesday, as well as through the plenary session of this session. decision-making forum, on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, we inform you that, starting from Monday, June 26, for 3 days, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., NNPC will organize protest actions, in “Izvor” park, entrance. in the Chamber of Deputies,” says the press release of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The main demands of the police

The main claims are aimed at the removal of military pensions from the PNRR, “where they have been equated, ambiguously and without justification, with the 6 long-service pension schemes managed by the National State Pension House”.

“Parliament and government should not ignore the fact that the pensions of the Romanian military and police, like their colleagues in NATO/EU countries, are paid many years ago and are based on the professional risks, complexity and social importance of the mission carried out in the national and European interests , as well as international ones, about a shortened life expectancy compared to other spheres of activity, about incompatibility and prohibitions established by law, etc.,” the trade unions say, reports Agerpres.

They also demand that allowances, allowances and rent compensation be updated to the values of the Wage Framework Law 153/2017, “and not to those of 14 years ago, i.e. from 2009”.

“Politicians, remember and correct the mistakes of recent years, at the 12th hour: as a result of some failed policy in our salary and pension systems, the authority of state institutions has degraded, the personnel deficit in SAOPSN has reached approximately 50,000 people. (police, penitentiary, military personnel, contractors), the number of layoffs increased from year to year, and as a result, the quality of public services provided for the benefit of citizens, the state, and society as a whole continued to decline. , because those with experience are losing confidence in the current policy, and young people are increasingly abandoning these noble professions, which used to be in the top of preferences at the national level,” – claim the representatives of the NPPZ.
