Yevgeny Prigozhin’s uprising, which ended within 24 hours, focused all media attention on the biggest crisis facing Russian President Vladimir Putin since he came to power in Russia.

All this time, the offensive of the Ukrainian army continued, said the representative of the Ministry of Defense, who clarified that the Kyiv troops attacked simultaneously in several directions.

Images have appeared on social media showing a huge plume of black smoke after the detonation of new Russian military vehicles believed to be carrying ammunition.

The attack took place in the Zaporizhzhia region, where Ukraine still claims “partial successes”.

The video, shared on Twitter, is also accompanied by a sarcastic comment that reminds of Prigozhin’s riot, which kept Ukrainians in front of televisions with large portions of popcorn, and in social networks – a real festival of irony on this topic.

“They jumped like popcorn in a microwave”, – writes an Internet user, referring to the Russian military equipment knocked out by Ukrainian troops.

In the Zaporozhye region, the Ukrainian army also lost military equipment provided by the West for a counteroffensive.

The Russian Rybar Telegram channel announced on Saturday evening that the next stage of the Ukrainian counteroffensive will begin on the entire front line, and not only in the Zaporizhzhia region, in the south of Donetsk and Bakhmut.

Other Russian bloggers reported that on Saturday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made significant progress near Robotyn, Zaporizhzhia region.
