Jordan Thompson defeated Tallon Grikspoor in the ATP Finals in Hertogenbosch

The main favorites Daniil Medvedev and Yannick Sinner were eliminated, and Jordan Thompson (103 ATP) and Tallon Grikspur (38 ATP) competed in the final.

In front of his own fans, the Dutchman won after three sets and two hours and 37 minutes of play against the player from Australia.

With no trophy in his career, Jordan Thompson came close to pulling off the upset by winning the first set and taking the second to a tie-break, but the deciding set gave Greekspur victory.

The Dutchman won only the second tournament in his track record, in January 2023 he managed to win the final in Pune (India).

The Libema Open (Hertogenbosch) takes place from June 12 to 18 on grass, is a preparatory tournament for Wimbledon, is part of the ATP 250 category, has a total prize money of €673,630, and the last champion is Tim van Reithoven (in 2022).
