Spain reached the Nations League final after beating Italy 2-1 at De Grolsch Veste in the Netherlands.

Spain defeated Italy in the semifinals of the League of Nations

Spain will face Croatia in the final act of this Nations League draw.

The Iberians defeated the European champions Italy at the “De Grolsch Veste” stadium in Enschede (Netherlands) at the end of the “Furia Roja” control match.

Yeremy Pino opened the scoring in just the 3rd minute for the Fuente-trained team, who capitalized on a serious mistake by Leonardo Bonucci.

Ciro Immobile restored the tie in the 11th minute of the match, converting from the penalty spot.

Frattesi scored the European champion’s second goal (21 minutes), but his success was canceled by VAR due to offside.

In the second half, the game was dominated by Spain. The Iberians’ efforts were rewarded and Joselu scored the winning goal in the 88th minute.

Thus, Spain will meet Croatia in the grand final.

Italy will play the Netherlands for 3rd place.
