“We are determined to restore life to all communities in Ukraine that are suffering from Russian aggression,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, DPA and Agerpres reported.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide money that will be used, for example, to restore municipal infrastructure or repair power lines.

According to the Commission, the EU has already provided Ukraine with about 70 billion euros since the beginning of Russia’s war of aggression. This assistance includes EUR 2.4 billion in financing from the EIB.
