Yesterday Wednesday (7/6) EL.AS officers handcuffed two parents for endangering their minor child. in Chalkis.

According to the report, it all happened early on Wednesday morning, when the 5-year-old child quietly left the family home and began to roam the streets of the city, with all the ensuing consequences for his safety.

The child was seen at 2:30 pm by a 59-year-old woman at the intersection of Ermou and Farmakidou streets, who notified the authorities, and the minor was handed over to the prosecutor’s office of first instance in Chalkida.

The case was brought to the attention of the Chalcis juvenile prosecutor’s office, and the child’s mother, aged 20, and his father, aged 44, were arrested for endangering a minor. The parents were then released as they still have five minor children under their protection.
