
The Vatman European Championship, the 10th edition, organized for the national premiere in Oradea, in which 25 teams from European cities participated, was won on Saturday by the representatives of the city of Vienna, Sandra Keider and Andreas Kainrad.
The team from Gothenburg took the second place, and the team from Prague took the third place.
The Oradea team, consisting of Karola Eva and Leonte Onita, took 14th place.
“It was a great edition. The competition was special and the participants were great. The team from Vienna behaved exceptionally. The prizes are symbolic: we have cups, diplomas,” said the director of OTL-Oradea Transport Local, Adrian Revnik, to Agerpres, who presented the two to the winners of the cups of this edition.
The organizers of the championship from Oradea awarded everyone with diplomas of participation and handmade products made of Vadu Crişului white ceramics, as well as special prizes: The newest crew with a high rating among debutants is from Zagreb, the oldest participant is Olah Hoffman from the village of Leipzig, and the most popular collective – Warsaw, whose members came accompanied by a large gallery.
Prizes for the best drivers: 1st place – Jen Collins, from Dublin, 2nd place – Robert Jonson, Romanian who settled in Sweden – Gothenburg, and 3rd place – Dominik Jurcevic, Zagreb.
The competition was held on a 130-meter section from Nezalezhnosti Street and Uniriyu Square. Teams consisting of a driver, a driver and a technical assistant had to perform six tests to prove their professional skills, under the general names: “Perfect Stop”, “Emergency Braking”, “Lateral Distance”, “Tram – Bowling”. , “TRAM-Billiard”, but also a new test.
The atmosphere of the competition was provided in Romanian and English by two on-site commentators of the event, journalists Viktor Mihalcha and Bohdan Bachila.
At the end of the event, a concert by Iryna Raimes is planned at Piaţa Unirii.
